    If you have applied to CSU Long Beach for fall 2022, you must complete the CSULB Supplemental Application no later than Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

    Fall 2022 admission:
    Submission period: January 4 - February 1, 2022.
    The supplemental application will be completed in January so that Fall grades and Spring enrollment can be included. Courses must be completed by the prior spring term to be considered for Fall admission.

    After submitting your Cal State application, you may be required to submit a Supplemental Application. The Supplemental Application for Transfer is an online application that is specific to you, is specific to your intended major, and is specific to CSU Long Beach. You will be asked to review and confirm your academic record, including all colleges attended. You will also be asked to confirm your CSU eligibility and you will also be asked to report your progress towards completion of your Major Specific admission criteria.

    It is critical that the Supplemental Application is accurately completed and in its entirety.  You are encouraged to review your academic records and to consult with counselors before you complete the Supplemental Application. Please note that, unlike the Cal State application, you will be given several weeks to complete the Supplemental Application, and you will have the opportunity to revisit your application and adjust your answers before the final deadline.

    The Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges or universities. Each Cooke Scholar has access to generous financial support for two to three years, college planning support, ongoing advising, and the opportunity to connect with the thriving community of fellow scholars.

    Each award is intended to cover a significant share of the student’s educational expenses – including tuition, living expenses, books and required fees – for the final two to three years necessary to achieve a bachelor’s degree. Awards vary by individual, based on the cost of tuition as well as other grants or scholarships they may receive. This highly competitive scholarship includes:

    • Up to $55,000 per year to attend a four-year accredited undergraduate school.
    • Ability to pursue any area of study.
    • Personal advising about selecting a college and navigating financial aid.
    • Multifaceted advising about how to transition to a four-year college and maximize the student experience.

    The Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship will be accepting applications beginning October 1, 2021 and will have a deadline of January 10, 2022.

    In early January 2022, you will receive an email instructing you to complete the online SDSU Supplemental Application, which will be accessible in your SDSU WebPortal account under the Admission Status menu option. You will need to refer to your most recent transcripts when completing the SDSU Supplemental Application. Be prepared in advance by collecting copies of all college transcripts with fall 2021 grades and any in-progress or planned courses for spring 2022, so you may refer to them as you complete the SDSU Supplemental Application.

    The SDSU Supplemental Application is a requirement for:

    all upper-division transfer,
    upper-division readmission applicants, and
    those seeking a second bachelor's degree in nursing,
    and is used to gather essential information necessary for admission decisions. Your admission is based on the information provided on both the Cal State Apply and SDSU Supplemental applications.

    If you are admitted, your admission is provisional pending verification of the self-reported information on your Cal State Apply and SDSU Supplemental applications using your official transcript(s). Admission may be rescinded if your GPA, test scores, courses grades, and/or number of transferable units are lower than what you reported on the application, or if you miss any admission deadlines. To ensure accuracy, refer to your college transcripts or education plan.

    Timeline
    January: You will receive an email letting you know the online SDSU Supplemental Application is available in your SDSU WebPortal account.
    January 24, 2022: The deadline to complete your SDSU Supplemental Application. No changes can be made to the Supplemental Application after that time. Do not skip this very important step. Requests to complete the SDSU Supplemental Application after the deadline will not be approved. The SDSU Supplemental Application cannot be reopened after the January 24 deadline.

    The SCHEC's "Pathways to Private Schools" team is hosting a Private School showcase on Wednesday, January 26 @ 5pm. This is an hour-long presentation featuring:

    • Biola University
    • Chicago School of Professional Psychology
    • Hope International University
    • DeVry University & its Keller Graduate School of Management,
    • Concordia University Irvine,
    • National University.

    We will provide helpful information on these schools regarding programs, entrance requirements, transfer benefits and more, as a way to help support students as they consider their next steps. All students are welcome, and we invite transfer center staff to attend as well!

    If you applied to the UC for fall 2022, you must complete the UC Transfer Academic Update (TAU) no later than Monday, January 31, 2022.
    You must provide your final grades from the previous term and list all courses in progress or planned for the term before you expect to enroll. Your updates will ensure UC campuses have the most current academic information available. Even if you do not have any in-progress or planned courses and your record of course grades was complete in your original application, you must log in to your application and complete the Transfer Academic Update.

    Fall 2022
    TAUs need to include grades through fall 2021 and planned coursework through summer 2022. The priority deadline is January 31, 2022.

    If you applied to UC Berkeley for fall 2022, you must complete the UCB supplemental no later than Monday, January 31, 2022.
    Complete Transfer Academic Update (TAU) forms on both our campus application portal and the University of California(link is external)(link is external) website.
    All transfer applicants to the College of Letters and Science must fill out the General Education form to notify us how they are fulfilling either Essential Skills, IGETC, or UC Reciprocity. Transfer applicants to the following majors (except for the College of Letters and Science) will need to fill out a ‘major prerequisite’ form. Those applying to the College of Letters and Science majors should check ASSIST(link is external) and the Berkeley Academic Guide to ensure they have the major prerequisites.
