    The Supplemental Application for Transfer is an online application that is specific to you, is specific to your intended major, and is specific to CSU Long Beach. You will be asked to review and confirm your academic record, including all colleges attended. You will also be asked to confirm your CSU eligibility and you will also be asked to report your progress towards completion of your Major Specific admission criteria.

    It is critical that the Supplemental Application is accurately completed and in its entirety.

    After applying to the CSU, all transfer students must update their application with:

    • The grades you received for your previous terms (e.g., Fall classes for the Fall before you plan to start at CSU or Spring classes for the Spring before you plan to start at CSU).
    • The courses you are enrolled in or plan to take (e.g., summer and fall classes).

    These updates are mandatory and ensure that CSU campuses have your most current academic information. Make sure to complete your update within the following timeframe:

This process is required by the CSU admission.

    The Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges or universities. Each Cooke Scholar has access to generous financial support for two to three years (up to $55,000 per year to attend a four-year accredited undergraduate school!), college planning support, ongoing advising, and the opportunity to connect with the thriving community of fellow scholars.

    Complete two forms, one for UC Berkeley and one for the University of California. The form for UC Berkeley will be listed in your campus application portal (MAP@Berkeley) under "forms" starting in January. You'll receive an email notification. For information on the second form for the University of California, please visit the Transfer Academic Update website

    Transfer applicants to the following majors (except for the College of Letters and Science) will need to fill out a ‘major prerequisite’ form. Those applying to the College of Letters and Science majors should check ASSIST and the Berkeley Academic Guide to ensure they have the major prerequisites.

    Please be sure to fill out these mandatory forms on each of these sites by January 31. The Transfer Academic Update can be submitted after January 31, but is not guaranteed to be reviewed. We cannot guarantee that changes to the forms on the portal after January 31 will be reviewed.

    After applying, transfer students are required to update their grades and course records.

    You must provide your final grades from the previous term and list all courses in progress or planned for all terms before you expect to enroll. Your updates will ensure UC campuses have the most current academic information available. Even if you do not have any in-progress or planned courses and your record of course grades was complete in your original application, you must log in to your application and complete the Transfer Academic Update.

    TAUs need to include grades through fall 2023 and planned coursework through summer 2024. The priority deadline is January 31, 2024.
