    July 1-31 is the priority filing period to apply to the University of California (UC) for a midyear (winter/spring) transfer.
    NOTE: Midyear transfer to the UC is very limited! Always consult with the UC for transfer opportunities.

    Submission of documents for admitted students: All official transcripts must be postmarked or electronically submitted by July 1.
    Students who accept an offer of admission must submit final, official transcripts from their high/secondary school and transcripts from colleges/universities to the one UC campus where they intend to enroll.
    • Students with international coursework must submit an official academic record (transcript) directly from the international institution.
    • Admitted transfer students must submit transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (a high school transcript may be required by a specific campus).

    All official transcripts must be postmarked or electronically submitted by July 1.
    • All UC campuses strongly encourage all official transcripts to be submitted electronically. Each campus has a list of specific vendors from whom they accept electronic transcripts.

    The Pathways to Private Schools Summer 2021 Virtual College Fair is scheduled for July 8, 2021 at 4pm-7pm. This is especially for students who've just graduated and are looking to transfer now, as these schools are still accepting applications for Fall 2021. This fair will showcase regionally-accredited, private universities with presence in Southern California, many of which offer benefits such as:

    • Internal scholarship opportunities for transferring students
    • Application fee waivers and/or special tuition rates
    • Smaller class sizes and scheduling accessibility
    • Rolling admissions
    • Yellow Ribbon/VA benefit opportunities
