October 13Please join us for a virtual UC Berkeley Student Support Programs Info Session for prospective transfer students from non-traditional backgrounds on October 13th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm through Zoom (RSVP link at the bottom of this email). UC Berkeley is HIGHLY committed to supporting students from non-traditional backgrounds--Formerly incarcerated, Undocumented, Current or Former Foster youth, Juvenile system engaged students and more. During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the services, community and resources offered by each participating program and after our programs presentation, break-out rooms will be available to connect with representatives from each program.
The following Campus Programs will be in attendance:
Berkeley Hope Scholars: Provides support, community and resources to child-welfare impacted youth currently at Berkeley. https://www.hope.berkeley.edu/
Undocumented Students Program: Provides guidance and support to undocumented undergraduates at Berkeley. https://undocu.berkeley.edu/
Berkeley Underground Scholars: Creates a pathway for incarcerated, formerly incarcerated and system impacted individuals into higher education. https://undergroundscholars.berkeley.edu/
