    Azusa Pacific offers three application deadlines1: Early Action, Regular Decision (priority), and Final. Many students choose to apply for Early Action. This is encouraged if you are a high school senior and Azusa Pacific University is one of your top-choice colleges.

    The following deadlines are firm and apply to first-year freshmen and transfer students. Applications may be submitted after the Early Action and Regular Decision deadlines, but it cannot be guaranteed that such applications will be given the same consideration as those submitted on or before the Early Action and Regular Decision deadline dates.

    Fall Semester

    Early Action (Freshmen Only)

    • November 15 application deadline

    Regular Decision

    • March 1 priority application deadline (recommended deadline)
    • June 1 final deadline (incoming freshmen; may be subject to an enrollment waiting list)
    • August 1 final transfer deadline (transfer students; may be subject to an enrollment waiting list)

    Please note that there may be an enrollment waiting list that begins before the final June 1 deadline. Applications should be submitted by March 1 to ensure priority consideration for both admission and financial aid.

    How to Apply as a Transfer Student

    At the University of Redlands a transfer student is someone who has graduated from high school and has completed courses at another institution of higher education. There is no minimum amount of units required to transfer to the University of Redlands. Students may transfer up to 66 semester units or 100 quarter units from a two-year institution and up to 96 semester units or 144 quarter units from a four-year institution.

    The Common Application for Transfer or free University of Redlands Transfer Application for Spring and Fall 2023 is available.

    Applications received after the priority deadline will be reviewed on a space available basis.

    • Before booking a flight, you must hear from us regarding space available for the Biola Bound of your choice. Biola Bound is a popular program with limited capacity, and we reserve the right to refuse registration.
    • Your flight must arrive at LAX on Saturday between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. On Tuesday, your flight must depart LAX between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. *We may not be able to provide you with transportation if you choose to arrive earlier or depart later than these time frames.
    • To be eligible for *flight reimbursement of up to $500, you must register for Biola Bound, visit Biola during one of the four Biola Bound weekends, participate in all Biola Bound program events and enroll at Biola University. Your online registration must be completed and received by Biola no later than 3 weeks prior to the Saturday of your preferred Biola Bound. *Reimbursement will happen automatically during the student's first semester at Biola.
