Your application must be submitted in Common App by January 12 at midnight in your local time zone to be considered. We will accept recommendations and transcripts only until January 22.The application portal will close on the deadline of January 12 - if you need to submit recommendations or transcripts after the deadline until January 22, please email them directly to scholarships@jkcf.org. Application materials will not be accepted after January 22.

The Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges or universities. Each Cooke Scholar has access to generous financial support for two to three years (up to $55,000 per year to attend a four-year accredited undergraduate school!), college planning support, ongoing advising, and the opportunity to connect with the thriving community of fellow scholars.

January 17The Transfer-to-Excellence Research Summer Research Program at UC Berkeley is now accepting applications for summer 2023. This is a great paid opportunity for California community college students in STEM.
There will be four online information sessions, starting Tuesday 11/8 at 7pm. These sessions are opportunities for students to learn more about undergraduate research, how to find positions as a CC student, tips for applying, and the specifics of the Transfer-to-Excellence program.
