August 18CCCP invites all foster youth/former foster youth and kinship care graduating students to apply for the foster youth/former foster youth site lite (one-day, commuter) experience happening at UCLA. Students learn to navigate the community college system to transfer successfully to the University of California. Introduction to research, university writing, and support programs. Focus on the history, educational pipeline, and resources available to current and former foster youth.

August 19At this on-site admissions event, admissions advisors are available by appointment to meet with students one-on-one to determine their admissibility, help with major selection or for transcript review and general advisement.
Students who don’t need a meeting with an advisor but have questions about their Cal State Apply application can stop by the Application Workshop anytime during the event.
Parking is free for registered guests. While they’re here, we encourage students to explore campus via our self-guided walking tour, easily accessible via the free CSUN mobile app in the App Store or Google Play.

This interactive workshop will deconstruct the transfer process and take you back to the basics.
