February 1This scholarship aims to support bright and ambitious individuals pursuing higher education by providing financial assistance. Please find the attached flyer with detailed information about the eligibility criteria and application process. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2024.
Applicants to the CSUF Black Student Scholarship Fund must:
- Self-identify as Black or African American
- Be high school seniors or graduates or current college undergraduates
- Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at Cal State Fullerton for the entire upcoming academic year
- Have a minimum grade point average of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)
- *Applicants must have applied to Cal State Fullerton by the application deadline.

February 1The Supplemental Application for Transfer is an online application that is specific to you, is specific to your intended major, and is specific to CSU Long Beach. You will be asked to review and confirm your academic record, including all colleges attended. You will also be asked to confirm your CSU eligibility and you will also be asked to report your progress towards completion of your Major Specific admission criteria.
It is critical that the Supplemental Application is accurately completed and in its entirety.

February 26Led by an USC admission counselor, these one-hour sessions are designed to help prepare students to transfer to USC. The presentation includes information about the application process, transfer course selection, transfer credit policy, academics and financial aid. You should attend this session as soon as you know you are interested in the university. As the presentation primarily covers preparation for a successful transfer application, it may not be relevant if you have already applied.
