Counseling Services

The Transfer Center is a service of the Fullerton College Counseling Center which provides additional counseling services throughout the academic year. There is no difference between the service you will receive at the Transfer Center versus the Counseling Center; all counselors can provide you with transfer counseling.

“Transfer counseling” is a function of ALL counselors and is predicated on the answers to these REQUIRED questions:

  • What is your transfer major?
  • What four-year colleges/universities do you intend to apply for transfer?

To Request Counseling in the Transfer Center, please follow these steps

Step 1: Provide Fullerton College with Official Records of All Forms of College Credit

Counselors need access to your complete college record to provide you with an accurate educational plan. Be sure to submit:

  1. Other college or university transcripts and/or
  2. Any college-level examination such as Advanced Placement (AP), College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and International Baccalaureate (IB)

All official transcripts and exam scores (AP, CLEP, IB) must be submitted to the Office of Admissions and Records.

For instructions on how to obtain transcripts and scores, visit Request Documents.

Step 2: Please review our No Show/Same-Day Cancellation Policy

Any student who misses 2 or more counseling appointments may be limited to booking same-day counseling appointments within a semester/term. The best times to meet with a counselor are the months of September, October, February and March.
