Application Season is Here!
If you intend to apply to the California State University (Cal State) and/or the University of California (UC), the applications are currently open!
The Cal State and UC application filing period opens on October 1, 2026, and closes on November 30, 2026.
However, the Cal State and UC opened their applications for fall 2027 transfers on August 1, 2026, giving students two extra months to begin working on their applications prior to October 1.
The Transfer Center provides comprehensive application services that are designed to walk you through the year-long application process!
Workshops
The Transfer Center offers a three-part Application Workshop Series designed to walk you through the entire year-long application process.
Application Essay Service
Students applying to the University of California (PIQ) and most private institutions (Common Application), will be required to write responses to questions in their application.
DROP-IN SERVICES
This service includes general transfer questions, completing applications, and understanding requirements; however, it does not include Application Essay Reviews which are by appointment only.
In-person Drop-In: Visit the Transfer Center during business hours.
Virtual Drop-In: Call the Transfer Center to connect with a staff member.
