October 1The Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges or universities. Each Cooke Scholar has access to generous financial support for two to three years, college planning support, ongoing advising, and the opportunity to connect with the thriving community of fellow scholars.
Each award is intended to cover a significant share of the student’s educational expenses – including tuition, living expenses, books and required fees – for the final two to three years necessary to achieve a bachelor’s degree. Awards vary by individual, based on the cost of tuition as well as other grants or scholarships they may receive. This highly competitive scholarship includes:
- Up to $55,000 per year to attend a four-year accredited undergraduate school.
- Ability to pursue any area of study.
- Personal advising about selecting a college and navigating financial aid.
- Multifaceted advising about how to transition to a four-year college and maximize the student experience.
The Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship will be accepting applications beginning October 1, 2021 and will have a deadline of January 10, 2022.

On Thursday, October 14th 2021, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., CBU will conduct a “Virtual On-the-Spot Admissions Day” for upcoming semesters.
The “Virtual On-the-Spot Admissions Day” is for admission into the undergraduate programs offered within the CBU online division. For a list of CBU online degree programs, you can select the following CBUOnline/Degrees
Most students will have an admission decision on the day of the event and admissible students will walk away with financial advising and a general timeline for obtaining a bachelor’s degree at CBU.By participating in the “Virtual On-the-Spot Admissions Day”, application fees and recommendation letters will be waived.
Students interested in participating in “Virtual On-the-Spot Admissions Day,” should provide prior to the event:
• College transcripts (official or unofficial) from ALL other colleges attended
• General admission requirements:
• 24+ college-level semester units complete or in progress,
